September 20th, 2009 marks a unique day and a very “dog-gone” interesting event on Hornblower Cruises & Events. The Pet Day on the Bay BOW WOW Brunch Cruise is a first of its kind and is offered to help raise money and awareness about orphaned pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe.
Nicknamed the Bow Wow Brunch, Sept. 20th will be just like the weekly two-hour, Sunday Champagne Brunch Cruise, but for one special day we welcome you, your family and your pooch aboard. You will enjoy the same delicious and bountiful buffet that you are accustom to with unlimited champagne, mimosas and desserts with one caveat- Fido gets a pet buffet to choose puppy snacks from and can enjoy his own “dog walk” set up by sponsor, Easy Turf on the sun deck of the yacht!
Bow Wow Brunch is open to the public and boarding is at 10:30 a.m. and cruises two hours from 11 am - 1 pm at 1066 N. Harbor Drive, Downtown. Join Hornblower Cruises and Helen Woodward to support their work in pet adoptions. A portion of the proceeds for the Pet Day on the Bay will go directly to helping Helen Woodward Animal Center.

San Diego Harbor Cruise & Sea Lion Adventures

Treat the kids on summer break with a fun and educational boat ride on San Diego Bay. Besides being the best sightseeing on San Diego Bay—with a professionally narrated tour of more than 50 storied landmarks. The one or two hour cruises give a sweeping overview of the city from the water. Narrators point out Navy Seal Commando Training, NASSCO ship building facilities, aircraft carriers and submarines in the educational message. Cruises pass by Seaport Village, Shelter Island, Coronado Island, Point Loma, and Cabrillo National Monument, among many others.
