Crew "Pet of the Week" goes to Jillian Vandagriff, Group Sales Manager: Eric and I decided that we wanted a dog and we both felt strongly that we would find one to adopt from a rescue. We went to a few rescue events and didn't really find anyone that we connected too or felt that they were "our dog". That all changed after I convinced him to go up to Helen Woodward early one day. We got there shortly after they opened and took a walk around. All of a sudden as we walked by a kennel that held 4 month old “Aleena”, Eric felt these little paws around his calf. Aleena had reached out and given his leg a hug. The volunteer asked us if we wanted to go in a take a look, we walked into the kennel and she jumped into his arms. I asked him if we needed to look anymore and he said "no, she found us!" An hour later we were taking her home and we named her Maggie. She has been such a joy to us and we can’t imagine our life or family without her in it.
